The terms under which the Garda houses are being offered for sale are the subject of negotiation at the conciliation council established under the Garda conciliation and arbitration scheme. Under the scheme the proceedings of the council are confidential and accordingly it would not be appropriate for me to make any further statement on the matter at this time.
In regard to the second part of the Deputy's question the houses are being valued on the basis of current market value.
