asked the Minister for Health the amount of money allocated to his Department from the national lottery funds; the projects to which he has allocated the money; and the amount of money involved.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 262 and 263 together. The Government has allocated £10.1 million from national lottery proceeds to the health and welfare areas. Two million pounds of this has been allocated to the Health Education Bureau and a further £2 million to the Health Capital Programme. Of the balance of £6.1 million I have to date allocated £1,455,500 to individual projects. The information requested by the Deputies in relation to this latter figure is set out in the tabular statement which will be circulated in the Official Report.
