Vol. 377 No. 1

Written Answers. - Tralee (Kerry) General Hospital Dialysis Machine.

272.

asked the Minister for Health the present position regarding the provision of a dialysis machine at Tralee General Hospital, County Kerry.

The Irish Kidney Association has informed the Southern Health Board that it would provide the necessary capital funds for the establishment of a satellite dialysis unit at Tralee General Hospital. I understand, however, that the health board is not in a position to meet the revenue costs which are estimated at £45,000 per annum.
