Vol. 377 No. 1

Written Answers. - Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General.

88.

asked the Minister for Finance if the staffing review of the office of the Comptroller and Auditor General has yet been completed; the results of the review; and if extra staff are to be allocated to the office.

The formal staffing review by the former Department of the Public Service has not taken place, but the staffing of the office has been the subject of extensive discussions and analysis at official level. For the present, any allocation of extra staff is, in any event, precluded by the ongoing budgetary and staffing considerations.
