asked the Minister for the Environment when a loan application for the renovation of houses at Redmond Street, Enniscorthy, County Wexford submitted by Enniscorthy Urban District Council is to be approved by his Department; and if he will expedite the matter in view of the circumstances involved as the houses are in a very dilapidated state.

A formal application for assistance under the remedial works scheme in respect of the proposed works has not yet been made by Enniscorthy Urban District Council. On receipt of full details, the proposal will be examined and a decision conveyed to the council in due course.
