Vol. 377 No. 2

Written Answers. - Sale of Fee Simple.

79.

asked the Minister for the Environment in view of the employment prospects when sanction will be given to the sale of fee simple to a company (details supplied) in County Louth; and the actual valuation.

A proposal from Drogheda Corporation to dispose of the fee simple interest in part of three leases relating to the premises in question, for a consideration of £17,000 plus costs and expenses was received in my Department on 11 December 1987. The corporation were informed by letter of 21 January 1988 that their proposal appeared to be acceptable and were requested, in accordance with normal procedure, to forward the deed of conveyance for endorsement of the Minister's consent. When this is received there will be no avoidable delay in finalising the matter.

A proposal in respect of part of a fourth lease relating to the premises has not been submitted to my Department.
