asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will arrange for the payment of a grant under the farm improvement scheme to be made to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford.

A grant under the farm modernisation scheme is being processed with a view to payment as soon as practicable if everything is found to be in order. All claims under the scheme are dealt with strictly in order of receipt. Due to existing budgetary constraints there is some delay in making grant payments.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will receive payment of a farm improvement grant which was passed for payment in October 1987.

A claim under the farm improvement programme for payment of a grant of £1,067 has been received and will be paid as soon as practicable. All claims under the programme are dealt with strictly in order of receipt. Due to existing budgetary constraints there is some delay in making grant payments.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will receive payment of a farm building grant.

A claim under the farm improvement programme for payment of a grant of £6,999 has been received and will be paid as soon as practicable. All claims under the programme are dealt with strictly in order of receipt. Due to existing budgetary constraints there is some delay in making grant payments.
