Vol. 377 No. 4

Written Answers. - Knockanish (Kerry) Group Water Scheme.

62.

asked the Minister for the Environment if his Department are prepared to allocate funds towards the cost of the provision of increased pipe sizes for Knockanish group water scheme, Tralee, County Kerry.

The Knockanish area is to be served by phase II of the Farmer's Bridge group water scheme. My Department will consider any application that may be made by Kerry County Council to make a special contribution towards the cost of increasing pipe sizes on the scheme to allow for its integration with the council's overall plan to provide water in the area. I understand the cost of the works concerned is currently being assessed by the council.
