Vol. 377 No. 7

Written Answers. - Local Authority Capital Claims.

64.

asked the Minister for the Environment the local housing authorities which have no yet submitted their capital claims for 1988.

65.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will indicate which housing authorities had not by 2 February, 1988 submitted to his Department the necessary documentation and information in relation to their capital needs to implement their housing programme in 1988; the steps he has taken to ensure that the delays caused by such housing authorities will not prevent the overall allocation of capital funds to housing authorities; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 64 and 65 together. The 1988 capital allocation claims for the local authority housing construction programme have now been received from all housing authorities. The claims are now being examined and I expect to be in a position shortly to notify the authorities of their individual allocations.
