There has been no avoidable delay in this case. The proposal was received in my Department on 14 December 1987. It is normal practice to allow some weeks to elapse before processing the order so as to give time for the submission of any objections. An inspector from my Department will inspect the site in the near future and I will make my decision as quickly as possible thereafter.
