The Government are satisfied that broadcasting policy is being developed in an orderly manner taking fully into account foreseeable technological changes. They believe that this policy is generally welcomed, that there has been ample opportunity to debate the issues involved, both in the Oireachtas and elsewhere, and that there is no need for the publication of a Green or White Paper on broadcasting.
