asked the Minister for the Environment if he is now in a position to sanction the application by Dublin Corporation to go ahead with 17 dwellings at Irwin Street, off James' Street, Dublin 8; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Layout and cost plans for this scheme are currently being examined in my Department. It is not possible to indicate at this stage when approval to proceed to tender will issue.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he has yet received an application from Dublin Corporation for sanction to go ahead with 16 dwellings at Kennedy's Villas, off James' Street, Dublin 8; and if his sanction will be forthcoming in the immediate future.

There are no proposals from Dublin Corporation before my Department in respect of a housing scheme at this address.
