Vol. 378 No. 10

Written Answers. - Housing Authority Land.

69.

asked the Minister for the Environment the means at his disposal to assess whether the price or the terms of the disposal of a portion of land owned by a housing authority are not the best reasonably attainable; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

It is the housing authority concerned which has to satisfy itself, in relation to any proposed disposal of land, that the price or terms are the best reasonably obtainable; if they are not so satisfied the necessity for my consent then arises.
