The position in so far as mental handicap is concerned is that the departmental review in that area has not been completed. The report of the Working Party on Health and Welfare Services for the Elderly is in the final stages of drafting. I hope to be in a position to publish it in about two or three months time. The recommendations of the report will of course be carefully considered by my Department when it is published.
