65.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the refusal of a mortgage subsidy in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; the further conditions which must be complied with prior to qualifying; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The applicant has been requested to supply additional information in support of his application.

66.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford.

The receipt of certain information requested from the applicant is awaited.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a person (details supplied) in County Kerry will receive payment of a mortgage subsidy.

The fourth instalment of the mortgage subsidy will be paid as soon as possible.

68.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason a person (details supplied) in County Cork has not been notified of a new house grant inspection on five previous occasions; and in view of this fact, if an inspection will be carried out within the next two weeks; and whether prior notice of the inspection could be issued.

Prior notification of an inspection is not given unless specifically requested by the applicant. An inspection, by appointment, in this case will be carried out as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the six month delay in the payment of a house improvement grant to a person (details supplied) in County Louth; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
