asked the Minister for the Environment the reason a house improvement grant has not been paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kildare.

The receipt of certain information requested from the applicant is awaited.

asked the Minister for the Environment when an inspection will be carried out for a person (details supplied) in County Cork who has applied for a house improvement grant.

The grant cannot be paid because contrary to a condition of the scheme, the house has not been occupied as a normal place of residence.

194.

asked the Minister for the Environment when payment of a house improvement grant will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and if he will have a higher rate of grant awarded for additional works carried out.

The maximum grants allowable have been paid. The grants paid are the maximum allowable for repairs to a pre-1940 house and the provision of a bathroom in it.
