Vol. 379 No. 6

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

203.

asked the Minister for the Environment when payment of a new house grant will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and if the necessary application form for a builder's grant will issue to the person concerned.

The £2,000 new house grant has been paid. The applicant has been issued with a claim form for the first instalment of the "builders" grant.

204.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in payment of a builder's grant of £2,000 to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford who took up occupation of his house in November 1987; and when payment will be made.

There has been no undue delay; an inspection, with a view to payment of the £2,000 new house grant, will be carried out as soon as possible.

The £2,250 "builders" grant will be paid to the builder of the house in two instalments in due course.
