asked the Minister for Finance the proposals, if any, there are to deal with damage to sand dunes and coastal erosion at Drumbeg Beach, Inver, County Donegal.

Under the Coast Protection Act, 1963, a proposal for a coast protection scheme must be initiated by the relevant local authority. No proposal, under the Act, covering Drumbeg Beach, Inver, has been received from Donegal County Council by the Commissioners of Public Works.
