Vol. 380 No. 7

Written Answers. - Drumconrath (Meath) Repair Works.

56.

asked the Minister for Finance the action the Office of Public Works intends taking to repair the damage done by recent drainage carried out at Summerhill, Drumconrath, County Meath where a laneway entrance to the property of a person (details supplied) has dropped by 18 inches; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Having investigated the problem referred to by the Deputy, the Commissioners of Public Works are satisfied that the subsidance of the laneway in question is not attributable to their drainage maintenance works in the area. Accordingly, they do not intend to undertake any remedial works to the laneway.
