A voluntary redundancy-early retirement scheme is being implemented in the colleges of education for primary teachers. Arrangements are being made by my Department for the employment-redeployment of the staff in Carysfort who do not opt for the above scheme. As all these arrangements have not yet been finalised it would not be appropriate to go further into the matter at this time.
