Vol. 380 No. 10

Written Answers. - St. Mary's Hospital, Drogheda.

147.

asked the Minister for Health the number of patients from County Meath over the past five years in St. Mary's Hospital, Drogheda, County Louth; and the place to which patients from County Meath will be transferred when St. Mary's closes down.

I am informed by the North Eastern Health Board that there have been one long term and two short term admissions of patients from County Meath to St. Mary's Hospital in Drogheda over the past five years. There are currently two patients from County Meath in the hospital. Any patients from County Meath who are in the Fatima Unit which will close late this year will transfer to the Drogheda Cottage Hospital with all of the other patients.
