asked the Minister for Health the amounts allocated by his Department from national lottery funds in each county to date.
Written Answers. - National Lottery Allocation.
Of the £6.1 million available to my Department I have allocated £4,017,475 to date. The information requested by the Deputy in relation to this figure is set out in the tabular statement which will be circulated in the Official Report. I would draw the Deputy's attention to the fact that the figures for each county in the tabular statement do not take account of the £1.640 million which I have allocated from the national lottery to national organisations and through the health boards for services in the counties they serve. Furthermore, there would obviously be benefits to the surrounding counties from the allocation of £889,500 made to organisations providing services in Dublin city and county area.
