The position is that a small amount of money was withheld in respect of an extension to Clareen National School, Birr, County Offaly. Some of this money was withheld because the work did not comply with my Department's specifications while the remainder related to works which were not eligible for grant-aid. The school authorities have been informed that no further payments will be made in this case.
