Vol. 381 No. 4

Written Answers. - County Cork New National School.

175.

asked the Minister for Education the present position in relation to the proposed new national school at Castlehaven, County Cork; and when work will commence thereon.

Because of the pressure on the funds available to my Department for the national schools building programme, I am not in a position to authorise invitation of tenders for the proposed new national school at Castlehaven, County Cork nor can I say when building work may be expected to get under way. I am, however, arranging to have essential repairs carried out to the existing building and these works are expected to commence very shortly.
