Vol. 381 No. 4

Written Answers. - River Fergus (Clare) Flooding.

80.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if his attention has been drawn to the fact that sluice gates on the River Fergus, County Clare, have been severely damaged and that land adjacent to the river is being flooded with every tide; and whether he will make any provision through the eastern package for funds to assist farmers in their plight.

There is no provision in the western package for aid for the relief of flooding.
