My Department are currently drawing up a comprehensive plan for the future management and development of the Moy Fishery. Since its purchase by the State in 1987, the fishery has been managed by the Department. It is intended, subject to financial resources, that the development and improvement of the rod salmon fishery at the Ridge Pool should receive priority in 1988.
