asked the Minister for the Environment when a new house grant will be sanctioned for a person (details supplied) in County Carlow.
A £2,000 new house grant could not be allowed as, contrary to a statutory condition of the scheme, the applicant had not occupied the house on completion as his normal place of residence. However, in the light of recent correspondence submitted on his behalf, he has now been requested to furnish additional information with a view to further consideration of his case.
