As to (a), the answer is nil, in the case of my Department. As to (b) to date the following 38 early retirements have been sanctioned:— 4 principals, 4 assistant principals, 6 higher executive officers, 5 executive officers, 4 staff officers, 2 clerical officers, 1 superintendent of cleaners, 3 cleaners, 1 assistant chief engineering adviser, 3 principal auditors, 3 driver testers, 1 supervisory housing inspector, 1 housing inspector.
