asked the Minister for the Environment the total number of garages in the State which sell (a) leaded and (b) unleaded petrol.

There were 3,375 petrol stations in the State at 31 December 1986. Unleaded petrol was available at 36 outlets at the end of September 1988 and will be available at a further 59 outlets in the coming three months.
