asked the Minister for Defence the Army posts in respect of which the outpost allowance is paid under section 67A of the Defence Force Regulations (Pay and Allowances); and the numbers of soldiers in receipt of this payment at the latest date for which figures are available.

Limerick West): The military posts in respect of which outpost allowance is paid at present are as follows: Kilbride Camp, County Wicklow, (Eastern Command); Kilworth Camp, County Cork, (Southern Command); Castlebar Military Barracks, County Mayo, (Western Command); Fort Dunree, County Donegal, (Western Command); Boyle Military Post, County Roscommon, (Western Command); Coolmoney Camp, County Wicklow, (Curragh Command).

A total of 63 soldiers are in receipt of outpost allowance at present.
