Vol. 383 No. 1

Written Answers. - County Clare National School.

297.

asked the Minister for Education if she has given approval to the board of management of a national school (details supplied) in County Clare to proceed with plans for a new school, having regard to the fact that the current building was erected in the 19th century to accommodate 80 pupils and there are at present 200 pupils attending the school.

I have approved grant-aid for the provision of six new classrooms for the County Clare national school referred to by the Deputy in replacement of the existing accommodation. I have asked my Department to begin the necessary planning for the project.
