Written Answers. - County Waterford Funding Applications.

asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the application of Waterford Active Retirement Association, Waterford city for funds from the national lottery under the Action Sports Programme.

My Department are at present setting up the structures for the establishment and development of the action sports programme.

Until such time as these procedures are finalised it is not possible to comment on individual applications under the scheme.

asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the application of St. Saviour's hurling and football club, Waterford city for an allocation of funds from the national lottery; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

Due to the very large number of applications received for this scheme it has not been possible, within the limit of funds available, to allocate a grant to this project.

asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the application of Clonea hurling and football club, County Waterford, for funds from the national lottery; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

My Department have not received any formal application from Clonea Hurling and Football Club under the capital grant scheme for the provision of recreational facilities.

asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the application of St. Patrick's Youth Movement, Portlaw, County Waterford for funds from the national lottery; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

My Department have not received any formal application from St. Patrick's Youth Movement, Portlaw, County Waterford under the capital grant scheme for the provision of recreational facilities.

asked the Minister for Education if an allocation of funds from the national lottery will be made available towards the provision of a golf driving range in Waterford city.

No application has been received by my Department in respect of the provision of a golf driving range in Waterford city.

asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the application of Sliabh gCua community centre for funds from the national lottery.

Due to the very large number of applications received for this scheme it has not been possible within the limit of funds available to allocate a grant to this project.
