Vol. 383 No. 1

Written Answers. - Tax Rebate.

75.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will arrange for the payment of tax rebate to a person (details supplied) in County Offaly.

The Revenue Commissioners have advised me that the inspector of taxes dealing with the taxpayer's affairs advised the Deputy on 26 September, 1988, that if the taxpayer wished to claim a rebate of tax she should make a formal claim. A claim was received by the inspector of 14 October, 1988. A review of her tax affairs was carried out and no rebate was found to be due for the current tax year. The inspector has written to the taxpayer setting out the position.
