asked the Minister for Social Welfare the rate of employer's PRSI or social security contribution as a percentage of the gross wage in all OECD countries for 1987.

The information requested by the Deputy is not readily available.

The following table, giving the current standard rates of employer's social insurance contributions in the EC countries at 1 January 1988 and OECD-Europe countries at 1 July 1986 may meet the Deputy's requirements.
