Vol. 383 No. 5

Written Answers. - Dublin School Staff Allocation.

47.

asked the Minister for Education if approval will be given for the post of permanent metal work teacher in the Old Bawn community school, Tallaght, Dublin 24, in accordance with the application and reason given by the board of management of the school; if approval will be expedited in view of the serious consequences that would ensue for many of the students who would lose a vital and practical subject if the post is not sanctioned; and if she will make a statment on the matter.

An appeal from the board of management of the school in question in relation to its teaching staff allocation for the current school-year has been considered by my Department and a decision on the matter has been conveyed to the board.
