The regulations governing the benefits applicable to vocational teachers to whom the terms of the voluntary redundancy scheme are being applied are those which apply in the local authority area, and as such are the responsibility of the Minister for the Environment. Information about these regulations was included with my Department's Circular Letter No. 16/88 about the voluntary redundancy scheme which issued to vocational education committees last February, and a copy of which I am arranging to send to the Deputy.
