The Dublin designated area has exactly the same range of development incentives as the other designated areas, except for the reduced rate of capital allowances, which is given at 50 per cent. This compares with 100 per cent in the other designated areas, including the Custom House Docks Area. The difference stems from the desire to direct development towards the Custom House Docks area and I have no plans to remove the comparative advantage given to the docks area.
