Plans for the construction of a new purpose built local office to replace the existing office in Tallaght are at an advanced stage in my Department. The Office of Public Works has been requested to proceed with the purchase of a site adjacent to the new Garda station for this purpose.
The proposed new office will provide for the full range of the services of the Department and will incorporate the most modern communications technology to enable a first-class service to be provided for the public.
