Total Community funding for the STAR Programme is 780 million ECUs with 50 million ECUs or £38.83 million being made available to Ireland. The programme covers the years 1987 to 1991.
Ireland received £5.435 million in 1987 in STAR aid. The balance, £33.395 million will be spread over the four years 1988-91.
