The number of persons treated for hepatitis, as notified to my Department under the Hospital In-Patient Enquiry Survey, for the years 1984 to 1986 is as follows:— 1984, 394; 1985, 277; 1986, 254. A figure for 1987 is not yet available.
The number of cases of hepatitis notified to my Department for the years 1984 to 1987 are as follows:— 1984, 1,310; 1985, 989; 1986, 725; 1987, 655.
