There are two such bodies under the aegis of my Department, namely the Combat Poverty Agency and the National Pensions Board.
The members of the board of the Combat Poverty Agency are Ms. Noreen Kearney (Chairperson), Mr. Tony Brown, Sr. Stanislaus Kennedy, Mr. John Hynes, Dr. Helen Burke, Ms. Mary Whelan, Mr. Vincent O'Loughlin, Mr. Michael Punch, Ms. Betty Cullen and Mr. Tom Bogue. Ms. Kearney has not received any remuneration as chairperson of the agency.
The members of the National Pensions Board are Mr. Brian M. McCracken (Chairperson), Mr. Alan Broxson, Mr. Brian Duncan, Mr. Des Lamont, Mr. Edmond Browne, Mr. Brian Anderson, Ms. Patricia O'Donovan, Mr. Donal McAleese, Ms. Deirdre Murphy, Mr. John Boylan, Mr. Pat Blake, Mr. William Ahern, Mr. Peter Brew, Mr. James Kehoe, Mr. Cyril Maybury, Mr. Ciaran Long, Mr. Gerry Mangan, Mr. Michael Guilfoyle and Mr. John McHale. Mr. McCracken has not received any remuneration as chairman of the National Pensions Board.
