asked the Minister for the Environment the total amount of a house improvement grant originally awarded to a person (detailed supplied) in County Kildare; if the work was carried out in accordance with specifications; if not, the way in which the work fell short of the specification; the total certified cost of the work; the reason the full grant as approved was not paid; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
The amount of grant approved originally was £6.009 and the cost of the work shown on the certificate of completion furnished by the applicant was £12,642. I would refer the Deputy to the reply to Question No. 106 on 24 May, 1988 in relation to the other information sought.
