My Department has received an application for school transport from the Shaen area, Portlaoise to the Heath national school. As there are only three fully eligible children from the Shaen area offering for transport to this school, it is not open to my Department, under the terms of the school transport scheme, to authorise the establishment of a service for the children in question.
