the Minister for the Environment if his attention has been drawn to the fact that the Headford sewerage works, County Galway, is being operated beyond its capacity and presents a serious threat of polluting Lough Corrib, whose waters are a source for group water supply schemes, and Galway city waterworks; and if he will approve new treatment works as proposed by Galway County Council.

There are no proposals with my Department in relation to the Headford sewerage scheme.
