Vol. 385 No. 4

Written Answers. - Knocklyon/Ballyboden (Dublin) School Site.

36.

asked the Minister for Education if the eleven acre site allocated for the building of a community school in the Knocklyon/Ballyboden area, Dublin 16 is to be retained for community use; if further discussions between the post-primary committee in the area and herself might be held in order to review the needs of the community for a post-primary school from time to time in the future; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

No decision has been taken by me on the disposal or future use of the site allocated for the building of a community school in the Knocklyon/ Ballyboden area.

My Department will continue to monitor and review developments in the area to ensure that there will continue to be available adequate, accessible post-primary accommodation for pupils from the area.
