There are two bodies under the aegis of my Department, namely, the Combat Poverty Agency and the National Pensions Board. The financial guidelines under which the Combat Poverty Agency operates preclude it from incurring an overdraft. The costs arising in relation to the National Pensions Board are paid directly by my Department and therefore, the question of an overdraft does not arise. It is not anticipated that either of these bodies will exceed their 1988 allocations.
