Vol. 385 No. 6

Written Answers. - Redundancy Payment Application.

225.

asked the Minister for Labour the reason no further action has been taken to grant statutory redundancy to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford since a reply was given to Parliamentary Question No. 127 of 25 October 1988 although all the proper procedures have been complied with.

The reason a statutory redundancy lump sum has not yet been paid to the person concerned is that my Department is still awaiting the return of the Forms RP14 and RP1 sent to the Deputy on 16 November 1988 for completion by the employee. As soon as the relevant documentation is received by the Department, the case will be dealt with as quickly as possible.
