I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this was an application for first registration based on possession. There is a long delay in dealing with such cases in the Land Registry. This delay is partly due to the complex legal issues involved and the pressure of work generally. Final requistions on title on the case issued to the solicitor in question on 29 November 1988 and were satisfied on 8 December, 1988. Registration was completed on 14 December, 1988.
