Vol. 386 No. 1

Written Answers. - Reinstatement of Disadvantaged Status.

97.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason disadvantaged area status was removed from two townlands (details supplied) in County Wexford; and if he will have the disadvantaged status reinstated.

The two townlands named are in the District Electoral Division of Monaseed. Only lands regarded as mountain sheep grazing land in that district electoral division are in the disadvantaged areas. The two townlands named are not and were never regarded as containing mountain sheep grazing and consequently they are not in the disadvantaged areas.
