In any case where patients die intestate and with no ascertainable next-of-kin the Minister for Finance, under the terms of the Succession Act, 1965, is the ultimate intestate successor.
I have asked the health boards to extract, in so far as is possible, the information requested by the Deputy and I will communicate further with him at an early date.
